FAY was founded in 2012 with the mission of developing more reliable and effective solutions in the field of gas safety.

The 1999 Marmara Earthquake and the fractures and cracks in gas lines showed us once again the importance of automatic safety devices that stop gas passage in case of an earthquake. Accordingly, we studied mechanical earthquake valves in California, U.S.A. With this information, we stepped into the gas safety sector in Turkey and in the following period, we started working to develop products that would maximize safety.

Initiy, we realized that there was a significant gap in gas safety around the world, and we, as FAY, designed safer and more durable mechanical earthquake valves to fill these gaps. These unique earthquake valves we developed prevent rust, magnetization and adhesion of metal powders by preventing the fluid contacting the parts that make up the mechanism. In addition, it prevents the b that fs into the gas flow path coming out of its seat with ongoing shaking, ensuring the correct operation of the system during an earthquake and reducing the risk of fire.

The 2023 Maraş earthquakes demonstrated the excellent performance of our designs and the weaknesses of our competitors. This process reinforced our commitment to quality and created a solid ground for us to expand into global markets.

FAY continues its efforts to offer the highest quality in gas safety not only in Turkey but also worldwide. Today, FAY manufactures safety devices that automaticy interrupt the flow of gas such as natural gas lines and many other devices used in gas lines. Our product range extends earthquake valves to gas safety devices and we are constantly developing our expertise in this field.

We are working to expand our global expansion, which started with European countries such as Israel, Italy, Greece and Romania, to the USA and other earthquake-prone regions. Our goal is to make the FAY brand a global safety symbol by increasing life safety over the world.
